I was trying to put a picture up but it isnt letting me, but that okay. I need good eye makeup, because I have a dance coming up and I have a date so I have to look good. My dress is bright red with sequins and I am kinda pale with dark hair if that helps at all. Thank you. What color makeup goes with a bright red dress?
If this is going to be a classy event, stay away from trashy makeup. You don't say what your coloring is - fair, dark, olive...that matters a lot.
Don't overdo both eyes and lips. Decide which one you'd like to play up and stick to it. Let's say you want to do a lightly smokey eye. Pick a crayon type shadow or shadow liner - they're very versatile.
Line your upper lid only with it, then smudge it up a bit into the crease - might want to practice this before hand.
At one time, L'Oreal made a smudge pencil - which I love but haven't looked for to purchase in a while if you find that, use it - a lovely smokey look.
Additionally, use a smallt amount of a light color, a cream or something complimentary to your skin tone on the brow bone to bring out the smoke look. Again, practice.
Leave your cheeks tinged slightly pinky but not really blushed up...more natural. Use a light gloss on your lips. You'll look sulty with the smokey eye and light lips.
Also with your hair - don't overdo it or the sexiness or the red dress will be overdone by too much hair and makeup. Let your beauty shine through. What color makeup goes with a bright red dress?
I wore a bright red dress to a party once, and I slicked my extremely dark brown hair back and wore mascara, nearly black indigo eyeshadow, and bright red lipstick. Wear blush that is darker than your skin, but don't wear one that is too tan or too pink, so that the dress and lipstick pop out. (by the way, I have pale skin too!)
That sounds fantastic. I would keep blush to a minimum ( keep it neutral maybe just a bit of highlighter on the cheeks ) and wear black mascara and maybe some liquid eyeliner and a nice deep red lipstick... wear a neutral eyeshadow shade light a beige type color ( it can have some shimmer ) or a soft pale gold ( no colors ) look at pictures of ';pin up'; type girls from the 50's for inspiration. You'll look great
No way!! Try resd lipstick, not too bright, but look in the mirror, if you can't pull it off, try focussing on the eyes.
Smoky eyes are always pretty. Use blacks/greys, don't go overboard or you'll look emo. Hope this helps!!
hmm... dark make up is good
black eyeliner , black mascara, black liquid eyeliner . but if u have dark hair try a light (suttle) eye shadow . :) obv normal foundation + a natural blusher ( deffo not bright red ) .
hope i helped :)
Try some 1940's inspired makeup, similar to Katy Perry's look here: http://lrg.zorpia.com/0/4750/30403560.77鈥?/a>
Instead of silver you may want to try a pale shimmery gold like Yellow Gold found here: http://nyxcosmetics.com/Main_Pages/Profi鈥?/a>
Just put some mascara on and Red Eyeliner and some orange eye shadow. You could even put red eye shadow from the inside of your eye and then put orange and yellow towards the end all kind of blended together.
not a extreme color maybe something sutle or a color that will make him notice your eyes. for lipstick maybe a pink lip gloss. and a light blush to bring out your cheeks and face. i hope this helps =)
I would go for brown eye shadow,.smoky eyes .http://www.blogcdn.com/www.aisledash.com鈥?/a>
smokey eyes.
heres how to do it:
I would say: A red lipstick with a shimmery gloss, a charcoal eye shadow, and a natural pinkish blush. Bet it will be pretty!
I would wear eyeliner under the eye and some on the lid. I would wear glittery eye shadow with lipgloss and mascara
Clown Make-Up! Honk Honk!
since it has sequins, how about a glittery silver?

i think that with a red dress black makeup should work woth the dress truse me put it on and see how it works.
try a bronze or goldish color. i have dark hair dark eyes and tan skin and i always wesr bronze
Definetley Black!
i would go with like a sparkly gray

lots of mascara
and peachy - pale lipgloss
gold would probably look nice. you could also match it with the color of your shoes or purse.
