I am wearing a bright red dress to prom. my shoes are silver.


%26amp;i can't figure out what type of eye makeup i should use.


so any advice would be awesome.

For Your Eyes ...


Go For A Normal Natural Look Because you don't want to over do all your makeup.





Then Get some liquid eyeliner and put this on the top of your eye and then go out with a quite large flick at the end.


with the eyeliner it will look great.

For Your Lips..


Go For a nice light redish colour

Then just add your foundation with nice peach colour blusher and you'll be really good to go :)

I had a bright red dress for my senior prom and although I have different colored eyes and hair than you, I think the eye makeup would still work. I used a light cream/champagne base from my lid to my brow bone, and a light shimmery brown on the lid. I used a very dark brown/black eyeshadow just for the outer corners (like the v's) of my eyelids. I used false eyelashes to make my eyes stand out more, Bad Gal Lash mascara from benefit (I swear by it!) %26amp; I lined my top and lids with a black eyeliner. Everyone loved it %26amp; thought I got it professionally done. Good Luck! Here's a pic...it might be hard to see the make-up, but you get the idea :) Hope you have a great prom!

The red smokey eyes is great and will look really sexy but also very 'prom'.





Face/Lips:





Just light foundation/powder to cover blemishes and for the lips, a nude or clear gloss will be great.





Try and emphasise one feature of your face, I would definitely say go for the dramatic eyes.

For Lipstick/gloss I Would Go For A Red Lipstick With A Shine Over The Top, The Red To Tye In With Your Dress, Do A Smoky Eye Or A Rich Brown, Depending On Your Skin Condition A Foundation, If You Have Lots Of Spots Use More, Bring Out Your Tan With A Tinted Moustriser, Use A Gold Shimmer Round Your Eyes (But Not As A Eyeliner), Apply A Coal Black Eyeliner Pencil Close To Your Lashes And Do Flicks (Otherwise Known As Cleopatra Flicks), Then Go Over In A Liquid Eyeliner, Hope This Has Helped. Try something like the eye in the link below, a nice silver eye shadow and a light shade of lip gloss, with some blush. Keep it simple.
Maybe silver eyeshadow with black eyeliner over the top. The silver will match ur shoes and the black eyeliner always suits people who have your features. Many people tell me how much i suit it.
