So ive sorted everything out for my school prom but i just dont know how to do my make up.... please help me!!Ive got a bright red prom dress and i dont know how to do my makeup for prom?
being as it's special cuz it's for your prom, why not treat your self to a professional job [ask in your local hairdressers]
otherwise i would say natural colours %26amp; lip gloss [keep it natural]
good luck [enjoy yourself]
sonia xIve got a bright red prom dress and i dont know how to do my makeup for prom?
Either play up your eyes or lips for a dramatic effect. Avoid matchy-matchy-that means don't match your lipstick or eyeshadow or eyeliner to your dress. For prom, since I've been there, done that, I would say do a dramatic smokey eye and a light pink lipstick and gloss. Lots of bronzer and foundation too (but not where it looks cakey and fake) so it stays on through dancing for pictures! =D
alright well since the red color is alive and vibrant i'd go for more subtle makeup. like a shimmery tan eyeshadow would look pretty along with light pink smooth dabs of blush. also, use lipgloss rather than lipstick cuz lipstick will look too harsh. but use a light colored lipgloss, like a rosy pink or something. and then the usually mascara and eyeliner on the upperlid, not bottom:]
Why don't you just keep it simple? You can look really fake and too bright if you go for garish makeup.
Use black mascara with brown eyeliner to soften your eyes.
Then use an eyeshadow that's close to your skin tone, but not to close.
I suggest you try a silver/gold liquid glitter eyeliner because they're really cool and then don't have a defenite line, just some glitter.
Then try some blusher, one of my favourite products. Blusher should match the colour of your cheeks when you pinch them.
For lips have loads of gloss!
I hope this helps.
i would say go for a light brown eyeshadow with a hint of dark brown dont O D on it or anything red lips with a red dress screams trying 2 hard. mmore soft colours natural looking is very sexy.. try them out before the day and pick what works best for you xoxo
ok. then if you r fair then you can have a light and shinny makeup and a lip gloss if you r not fair then you can have a dark makeup and use foundation before applying the makeup and if suits you you can even use a eyeliner
If you've got a garish prom dress, go for minimal make-up, hair and accessories, otherwise you'll risk looking too much. Let the dress speak for itself, and keep other things dark for contrast.

first apply foundation and then apply little bit red eye shadow, use black coloured eyeliner and black mascara..........apply little as much as possible pink blusher ......................
black liquid eyeliner %26amp; mascara, no eyeshadow,
%26amp; red lipstick.
look more natural. light blush. black eyeliner. mascara. and maybe a little of brown eyeshadow.
:D Hope this helps
Do something casual. You will be in a lot of pictures. You dont want the risk of 'smugging' your face.
Less is best, do a little eye liner and lip liner with some gloss, maybe some eye shadow but dont clown it up lol
Thick black eyeliner
White eyeshadow
Clear lipstick :)
xxx
ok so red shoes, red lipstick or lip gloss, mascara, eyeliner no eyeshadows etc have fun at prom and good luck:)
very thin liquid eyeliner-black - volumising mascara
